The Citizens Action Coalition Education Fund is currently working on three different health care initiatives:

Medicare for AllCACEF is working with Hoosiers for a Commonsense Health Plan and Physicians for a National Health Program to educate Hoosiers about the benefits of a publicly financed, privately delivered (single payer) universal health plan at the state and national level. HCHP is working to educate the public and the legislature about the benefits of a single payer plan. |
Hospital Accountability Project (HAP)CACEF and Indiana Legal Services (ILS) are working on a Hospital Accountability Project (HAP) in Marion County. The project’s goal is to ensure that non-profit hospitals in Indiana earn the tax breaks they receive by providing an adequate amount of charity care to underinsured or uninsured citizens. |
